Ladies Sunset League
at Legacy Ridge Golf Course
First Session: May 1st thru June 12th
First Session Scramble: June 26th 5:00 PM Shotgun
Monday evenings, tee times beginning at 3:00 PM
LIMITED TO FIRST 72 MEMBERS REGISTERED
In its second year, we are happy to continue with the Legacy Ridge Sunset League. We have a fun league planned for you and your
friends for 15 weeks (one 7 week session and one 8 week session). The Grill at Legacy Ridge will be offering a 15% discount at the
Grill for all league members. We are looking forward to many great years with the Sunset League! Thank you for playing and see
you out on the links!
The format will be a six week eclectic (flights will be made after the first week scores) with some mini games in the middle and a
scramble tournament on the seventh week. Each week there will be a sign up sheet in the golf shop for the following week (ex; on
May 4th you would sign up for May 11th). The tee sheet will be blocked for Sunset League members only from 3pm – 6pm. Spread
the word to your friends!. If you are not able to play that week and would like to sign up for the following week just call the golf
shop at 303-438-8997 and let anyone know you would like to sign up for the Sunset League. If it is last minute please come out on
the day you would like to play and golf shop staff will pair you with a group or wait until there is an opening. We alternate front
and back nine. The first session will be on the front nine and the second session will be played on the back nine. The Scramble is
June 26th.
Beginner Lessons
Do you have friends that want to play, but have never taken lessons? We have the programs in place that your friends can take part
in and be ready to come out and play during the second session. The best program would be the Get Golf Ready classes that start
early April. We will have some ladies only clinics, short game and specialty clinics, private lessons and much, much more. Contact
PGA Head Golf Professional, Joe Carlton for more information 303-658-2821.

Format & Game Descriptions:
Eclectic:
Eclectic is a fun format to see what your potential “lowest score” could be on nine holes. The
first night everyone will have their base scores for each hole. During the following six weeks
you will have a chance to improve all your scores for final awards following the Scramble
Night.
Putts:
Fewest putts nights are games for everyone that pays the entry fee in the golf shop during
check in. Players will play their eclectic score as normal, but will keep track of how many
putts they have on each hole and then total that number next to their name before turning in
scorecard. Putts only count from shots on the green (if you putt from the fringe, fairway or
rough that does not count as a putt on your total).
CTP:
Closest to the Pin nights are games for everyone that pays the entry fee in the golf shop during check in. Make sure you pay, because you always “win” or hit a great shot when you
don’tJ. Both par 3’s will have a placard on the green for the closest shot to the pin. Your shot
must be on the green to qualify. At the end of the night the Legacy Ridge staff will bring in
the contest placards and record the winners at the next league day. Good Luck!
Scramble:
All four players will tee off on each hole and then the team will select the best shot. All remaining players will pick up their ball and take it to the chosen ball. All four players will
place their ball within 1-club-length (ball must stay in bunker if in bunker) and hit their second shots. This will process will continue until chosen ball is on the green. Once on the
green players must place ball within 6” of chosen ball and repeat this process until the ball is
holed.
