AREA PERMIT AGREEMENT 2016 BETWEEN MININERA & DISTRICT FL & HAMILTON JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE An Area Agreement between the Mininera & District Football League (MDFL) and the Hamilton Junior Football League (HJFL) for the 2015 season to allow registered players to play games on permit with the MDFL & HJFL junior competition (U16 & U16.5) and the MDFL open age competition. This agreement is signed pursuant to the AFL Vic Country rules and regulations pertaining to clearances and permits and in particular clause 2.10 area permits, whereby an interchange of players between clubs of the above mentioned leagues may take place without clearances and is subject to any provision within this agreement. This area agreement replaces and supersedes any previous area agreements between the two aforementioned Leagues. 1. That this agreement is for the 2016 season only. 2. Those players involve desire to play with the Club in the other League on the day in question. 3. That the Clubs and Parents of players involved are agreeable to players playing on the day in question. 4. That the players concerned are acquainted with the AFLVC regulations 2.1, 2.2 and 2.5 regarding one day permits. 5. That prior to each match played, the players shall obtain a signed permit to do so from his parent club. A player of either league shall play for one club only in the other league. 6. The permit shall be in triplicate and dispensed by the Club with which the player plays on the day as required under Regulation 2.1 of the AFLVC Rules and Regulations. Failure to ensure correct paperwork is obtained and signed (both clubs and parents of player involved) as directed will result in the permit being considered null and void. Any breach of this agreement will automatically cancel this agreement for the clubs concerned for the duration of the current season. 7. Permits must be ratified with the nominated parent club official by 8.00 pm on the Friday preceding the match. 8. Permit players must be listed on the team sheet as area agreement players. NUMBER OF PERMITS 1. If a MDFL player or HJFL player is cleared during the season to either the MDFL or HJFL, the games played before the clearance do not count towards the games required for finals qualification. 2. Permit players going to the MDFL or HJFL may play with one club only during the season under the rules of this agreement. 3. MDFL and HJFL players may only play a maximum of 12 matches on permit with either League, with a maximum of 6 of those matches being played in the MDFL open age competition (inclusive of finals) on permit during any one season regardless of the club or league the player is registered with. Permit players must have played 5 games under this agreement to qualify for the final series in the respective League. 4. Permit players are to fill in a Regional Area Agreement Permit form WEEKLY. 5. MDFL and HJFL junior teams are only permitted to play up to a maximum of 8 permit players in any one match as per the following points. 10 players available on the team sheet: 8 permit players allowed. 11 players available on the team sheet: 8 permit players allowed. 12 players available on the team sheet: 7 permit players allowed. 13 players available on the team sheet: 6 permit players allowed. 14 players available on the team sheet: 5 permit players allowed. 15 players available on the team sheet: 4 permit players allowed. 16 players available on the team sheet: 3 permit players allowed. 17 players available on the team sheet: 2 permit players allowed. 18 players available on the team sheet: 1 permit players allowed. 19 players available on the team sheet: 0 permit players allowed. MDFL open age teams are only permitted to play up to a maximum of 3 permit players in any one match. 6. Only 2 permit players may be of the maximum age permitted in the junior competition, with the remaining players to be Under 15 at the first of January of the current year. 7. A player may play one game only on any day under this agreement. 8. On the occasion of a permit player being reported and suspended, that permit agreement shall be considered null and void and the imposed penalty served at the player’s home club. Any player serving a suspension imposed by their home league shall not be granted a permit for the duration of the imposed suspension. President, Mininera & District Football League Inc. A player will not be able to take the field until this form has been submitted to both the Mininera & District FL Secretary and the HJFL Secretary and the form has been granted by all parties.
