Learn To Skate Registration
Flint Iceland Arenas follows the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program. It is the
introductory program for both figure skating and hockey skills, and is endorsed by USA
Hockey. It is designed for the recreational and competitive, figure and hockey skater.
The curriculum keeps skaters enthusiastic about learning!
What Does It Cost?
Classes are $91 for the seven week Fall 2, Winter 1, Winter 2 and Spring 1 sessions ($13/class). Sessions can be
prorated if you sign up after the first day. Make ups are permitted. Sign up for two days and get a 50% discount
off the second day ($136.50 for both days) Sign up and pay for consecutive sessions at once, and get a 10%
discount. There is an annual program registration fee of $15, renewable every July 1st. Parents can pay the $15
annual fee if they want to skate with their child during free time. Rental skates are included in the cost.
How Does It Work?
All classes are 50 minutes in length. 25 minutes of instruction, 25 minutes of supervised free time. Class may
occur the first or the second 25 minutes.
