2. Criteria and evidence
2.1
Complete the yellow highlighted section of the table below and return with your evidence to
[email protected]
2.2
Members applying for Silver level certification must have also met the requirements for Bronze
level. If you have already been certified to Bronze level please check you still meet the
requirements and provided any updated evidence as required. If you have not already been
certified to Bronze level please complete this section of the application form fully together with
the section for the Silver level.
3. Verification
3.1
All evidence submitted is reviewed by the ISEP team. Where necessary a short site visit may be
requested to verify some of the evidence submitted.
3.2
Where there is any doubt that a member has met the criteria for certification the application will
be considered by the ISEP Steering Committee who will come to a final decision.
4. Next steps
4.1
ISEP members successfully applying for certification will be supplied with a jpeg of the
certification logo and a hard copy certificate. Both include the year of certification.
4.2
ISEP certification levels are valid for two years after which point the member will be invited to revalidate their certification level or apply for a higher level.

Awarded to members who have a working environmental policy and systems in place to monitor and reduce energy
CARBON FOOTPRINTING

We have systems in place to ensure our energy data is
collected and recorded regularly
Please detail what kind of monitoring system you
have in place to monitoring your energy use.

We have accurately established our carbon footprint
using a full 12 months of actual data and an appropriate
methodology including minimum Scope 1 & 2 emissions.
Please provide a copy of your 12 month carbon
footprint (or ISEP carbon monitoring report).
Wherever possible members should provide a carbon
footprint for the 12 month period March – April of
the previous year.

including a reduction in our carbon emissions of at least
5-10% on our baseline.
Clear documented evidence of reductions should be
provided. Please state whether reductions are
absolute or normalised for weather /occupancy
levels/ floor area.
