Random walks on groups: limit theorems
In this course, I will present limit theorems for random walks on some non-abelian groups,
which are analogues of the classical results for random walks on R. An essential tool is the
use of spectral results for operators, which are analogues of objects appearing in the theory
of hyperbolic dynamical systems.
