Dear Comrades, In view of the Indefinite strike given by Joint Action Committee CHQ from 20 th April 2010, following instructions should be adhered to by all District Secretaries. (1) Joint Action Committee should be formed at SSA levels with District Secretary NFTE as Chairman and District Secretary BSNLEU as Convener. This is same as being done at CHQ level. (2) Joint Action Committee should hold press conference on 19th April 2010 at the SSA head quarter and should ensure vide publicity in Electronic and Print media highlighting the issues on which strike is being called by Joint Action Committee. (3) All office bearers of JAC should ensure that indefinite strike is observed from 20th April 2010 in total by all executives, Non-executives and agenda given by CHQ is strictly followed. (4) It should be clearly told to members that “No Work, No Pay” principal will be followed. (5) Office Bearers of Joint Action Committee should further ensure that proper report from SSA is sent to Circle Office. (6) Joint Action Committee should write letter to SSA Head informing them about the indefinite strike from 20th April 2010. Notice given by the CHQ should be attached with that. Strike, strike and strike very hard to save BSNL from impending disaster. Strike for transformation of BSNL. Strike to end persistent political interference leading to political corruption and bureaucratic red tape. Strike to induct best and talented professional managers by replacing inept, inefficient and unprofessional ITS. Strike to end functioning of BSNL from corridors of Sanchar Bhawan. strike to have 100% management belonging to the Company, Strike to force the government to introduce innovative reforms on all fronts. Strike to shake the government into swift action to decisively and urgently address crucial issues, including the most significant one of ITS absorption. Strike to free BSNL from shackles of vendors, strike to end rampant political corruption in BSNL. Strike to end deep rooted Vendor-politicianmanagement nexus. Strike to end rampant corruption in field units of BSNL presided over by ITS officers in collusion with JTOs, SDEs, DEs and DGMs. Strike to have a management capable and strong enough of telling ministers and bureaucrats to get lost and not interfere in the business policies of the Company. Strike, strike and strike very hard to save BSNL from impending disaster. Strike to define new policies and priorities of the Company. Strike to give a new direction and facelift to the Company. Strike to set objectives for the workforce to achieve. Strike to engage huge workforce in the process of transformation by adopting new processes and systems. Strike for adoption of technology as a key enabler to introduce sweeping reforms. Strike to have a comprehensive roadmap for future growth of BSNL and to successfully involve workforce in accomplishing the objectives set out in the roadmap. Strike to bring about drastic attitudinal and work culture changes at all the levels. Strike to put in place modern business strategies and involve people in implementation of these strategies.
