Come play chess at Mukilteo Elementary!
Open chess sessions start Monday, 03 December from 3:30-4:30 in Room 93, and will be held every other
Monday. Students in grades K-5 are welcome - no chess experience needed.
Learn how to play, or sharpen your skills and critical thinking by playing against other students at a variety of
skill levels. This is a non-tournament oriented activity that will focus on learning, respect and etiquette. All
students must have a signed permission slip to participate.
Please complete the form at the bottom of this page and return to the school office. In order to ensure
student safety, signed permission forms must be received in the school office by the Friday prior to the first
participation in open chess by your student.
For example, students who turn in signed forms by Friday 30 November can participate starting Monday the
3rd. Forms received Monday the 3rd, through Friday the 14th, can participate starting Monday the 17th. E-mail
