Punch cards may be purchased for any of our
drop-in aerobics classes and child care visits.
Punches are $1 per punch, and there is no minimum
or maximum number of punches that

Personal Training
Dates and times are flexible and may vary
depending on availability. 10 training sessions may be
purchased at a discounted rate. Physician Approval is
necessary for men over 45, women over 55, and youth
ages 14-17; the Health History will be reviewed and
you will be notified if a Physician Approval is
necessary for other reasons. A personal training form
must be completed first, which can be picked up at
the front desk or printed HERE. Return the completed form to Matt Darby at activitiescoordinator@
reunionmetro.org or drop it off at the Rec Center. You
will receive a call or email from one of our certified
personal trainers to set up your first appointment!

Foundations | Learn yogic breathing with deeper focus
on the basics to any vinyasa practice. Postures are

Vinyasa Flow I | Same elements as Vinyasa Flow II
with the main difference being a guided one breath,
one movement moving meditation. Feel balance and
release.
Vinyasa Flow II | One breath, one movement. Creative
and energetic union of heat building sun salutations,
balancing, abdominal strength exercises, standing and
seated postures, twists, backbends, arm balances and
inversions, with freedom to flow at your own pace.

Characterized by the familiar sound of tap shoes on
the floor, tap dance is a fun way to introduce all
children to dance. With a focus on rhythm,
musicality, and timing, students will explore the
fundamental steps of tap dance, learn tap
terminology, and develop the ability to maintain
correct body placement. Additional fees will apply to
participate in the shows and will be collected by the
instructor.

This is a combination ballet/tap class for the beginning
young student. In this class students will learn basic
terminology and beginning ballet and tap technique in

Ballet class is for those that have no prior Ballet experience and those that have had Ballet classes previously offered. Classical ballet techniques and terminology
are taught with an emphasis on proper body alignment
and awareness. This is the perfect next step for those
that have previously taken our pre-ballet or kinder ballet class; however there are no prerequisites. Students

Intro to Lyrical/Jazz Dance

This combination class will introduce students to two
styles of dance; Lyrical and Jazz. Based on a fusion
of several classical dance techniques such as ballet,
jazz, and modern, the lyrical style of dance has risen in popularity. Lyrical technique is characterized
by expressive movements meant to convey emotion;
often based on the accompanying music. Students will
focus on technique, developing fluid movements, and
exploration of music interpretation to tell a story with
movement. Jazz, will expose the students to
fundamental aspects of dance such as isolations
and performance.

Types of dance - hip hop, break dancing,

MHT wants to help kids grow and develop interest
in the program as well as participate in tumbling
throughout the United States. They promote safety
education for tumbling internationally in
competition and other events.
Through demonstrations, strength, and correct form,
we will teach you to not be afraid of performing the
movements. In each camp/class, students will learn
proper technique and form to be the best!

about common problems from playing sports and how
to diagnose, treat, and prevent them. At the end of

receive a medical grade reflex hammer to take home
and receive a graduation certificate at the end of the
program.

Tiny Tykes is a new and exciting program that teaches
basic soccer skills while developing strength, balance,
coordination, listening skills and team work. Our
professional, licensed, British coaches will ensure your
child has a positive soccer experience. The Minikickers
curriculum has been devised by soccer experts, child
development professionals, and experienced coaches.
Weekly 45 minute soccer classes for a period of 6-12

CARA Volleyball

CARA Volleyball participants will be divided into 5
divisions: 2-4th grade, 5-6 th grade and 7-8th grade.
A coach will contact you with exact practice days and
times. As the season gets closer, each team will practice
twice a week. Each team will be required to attend 2
tournaments between March 23rd and May 11th, and
August 12th and November 2nd held at various locations around the Metro area. Qualifying State tournaments will occur on May 11th and November 2nd.

Participants must be able to swim 25 yards (1 length of
pool) without stopping or needing assistance, and be
able to rhythmic breath to the side. Participant must
also be able to swim a 25 yard backstroke staying horizontal without stopping. CARA swim is not intended to be swim lessons. Due to the limited space,
please do not register your child if they cannot perform
the minimum requirements. Practices will be held
Monday/Wednesday mornings depending on the age of
the child. Swimmers will have the opportunity to compete in swim meets throughout the summer on Saturdays. Swim meets will be held on Saturday, June 29th at
Westbrook, Saturday, July 20th at Commerce City, and
Saturday, July 27th at Signal Creek. A parent meeting

Hip Hop Intermediate Class
The Advanced Hip Hop class, students will use what
they have learned from the Beginner and Intermediate
levels and put it to the test! This class will be focusing
on learning Choreo and to grow as a Dancer. We will be
working on Advanced level dance moves and
Choreography that you would learn in the pro-fessional
dance world. The goal for Advanced Dance Class is for
students to find their own style and individuality on the
Dance floor!
