Meet will be held Rain or Shine!
Date – Saturday June 10th, 2017, 8am warm-up, 9am start
Location - Replex, 304 E. Washington St, LeRoy , Illinois 61752, 309-962-4800
Entry Deadline – Hand-written entries due by 5pm, Tues. June 6th, Hy-Tek entries by 12pm, Wed. June
7th. Email entries to [email protected] or Fax to 309-962-4880.
Facilities – 6 Lane, 25 yard outdoor heated pool. Starting blocks are located at 5 ft. water depth. An
adjoining diving well is available for race warm-up/cool-down during the meet. Spectators are on deck
and in grassy area. Please bring a bag chair or blanket to sit on. The indoor pool will not be available
during this competition.
Bull pen – A bull-pen will be available for younger swimmers to assist in lining them up for races.
Parking – There is limited parking available around the Replex. RV’s are prohibited at the Replex.
Rules & Safety – Although this is NOT a USA Swimming sanctioned event, USA Swimming rules will be
enforced with the exception of 8 & under swimmers in the following situations. An 8 & Under swimmer
will not be disqualified unless the swimmer does an incorrect stroke (for example, Freestyle during a
breaststroke event) for three or more arm stroke cycles. As long as it appears that the 8 & under
swimmer is attempting to swim the stroke correctly, there will be no disqualification. There will be no
false start disqualifications for the 8 & under age group. NO DECK CHANGING is allowed. There are
male and female locker rooms provided.
Swimmer Entry Restrictions – The swimmer’s age as of June 1, 2017 will determine which age group
they are allowed to compete in the meet. All swimmers must be able to swim 25-yards unassisted in
order to compete. Entries are restricted to 2 relays per team and 4 individual events per swimmer.
Swimmers may not compete in the same relay type for different age groups.
Entry Fees – Entries fees are $8 per relay and $2 per individual event.. Late entries will be accepted as
space permits at a rate of $10 per relay and $4 per individual event. Entry fees are not refundable and
must be submitted with entries. Checks should be payable to the Replex.
Timers - Each team shall provide 2 timers. A Timer’s meeting will be held at 8:30am by the pool office.
Seeding – This meet will be pre-seeded slowest to fastest based on entry times. To keep the meet
moving as quickly as possible, the Replex reserves the right to combine same stroke and length events of
different genders or ages into one heat. Swimmers in combined heats will still be awarded separately

for heat awards, scoring and placement awards. No Time (NT) entries are acceptable and will be seeded
prior to entries with times. Heat Sheets will be available for purchase at the concession stand upon
arrival at the meet. Any late entries or missed event swimmers will be placed in open lanes as they
become available.
Awards –Fun Heat winner awards will be provided to swimmers, as well as medals for 1st place and
ribbons for places 2 – 6th.

Concessions & Apparel – T-shirts, caps, goggles and concessions will be available for sale.
