My child has permission to attend the Janesville Pride
Camp. I certify that within the past two years, he has had
a physical examination and that he is physically able to
participate in football camp activities without restriction. In
the event of illness or injury, I give my consent for medical
treatment and permission to the attending physician to
hospitalized, secure proper treatment and order injections,
anesthesia or surgery. I will be responsible for any medical
or other charges in connection with my child’s attendance
at camp.
I understand that Janesville Football, Inc., may take
photographs of camp participants and activities. I agree
that Janesville Football, Inc., shall be owner of and may
use such photographs relating to the promotion of future
camps. I relinquish all rights that I may claim in relation to
use of photographs.

2011 Parker Pride Camp
Camp: The camp philosophy is to provide solid
fundamental football skills in a relaxed atmosphere.
You will learn techniques that are vital to an athlete
in reaching his fullest potential. There were also be
instruction in running techniques, flexibility,
exercises and special skills which can help you to
reach your fullest athletic potential.
The purpose of the Janesville Pride Camp is to teach
every player the fundamentals and advanced skills
necessary to make him a better football player and
to help him develop future athletic ideals in
sportsman-ship, leadership and citizenship.
Campers: Students 9-12th grade
Focus of Instruction: Each player may
specialize and choose particular techniques he
wishes to learn in the following areas:
Quarterback.............. Ball handling, faking,
passing, field generalship
and strategy.
Running Back............ Ball carrying, faking,
blocking, and pass
receiving.
Ends and Flankers..... Releases, patterns,
receiving, ball carrying
and blocking.
Offensive Lineman..... Stance, explosion,
pulling, trapping blocking,
pass blocking, scramble,
reach, DBL-team, etc.
Defensive Lineman..... Stance, reading reaction,
slant techniques, pass
rushing and tackling.
Linebacker................
Stance, keying reaction,
tackling, and pass
defense.
Outside Backer/D-End..Stance, techniques,
playing the TE, pass rush
and contain.
Defensive Back............ Stance, keying, pass
defense (man to man and
zone) and tackling.
All Campers will be instructed in quickness and agility
drills, flexibility and proper running techniques.
(Includes T-shirt and mouthguard)
Janesville Pride Camp
Equipment:
Each camper will be
expected to come to the nightly sessions
dressed in appropriate attire.
Players
should wear an athletic supporter, sweat
socks, football-type shoes, a T-Shirt or
sweatshirt, athletic shorts or sweat pants.
Mouth guards must be worn during camp.
NO helmets or shoulder pads will be
needed as this is a skill not scrimmage
type camp.
Note: Players will not be allowed to
practice with eyeglasses unless
they are unbreakable.
Registration: The camp application form
and payment of fees must be sent to the
Janesville Pride Camp address. Athletes
who sign up the night of camp will not
have the camp T-shirt during camp. A
shirt will be ordered and provided at a
later date. Sign-in will be at Parker High
School on July 18th from 5:00 - 5:30
p.m. The campers should be picked up
each night at 8:00 pm unless otherwise
informed.
