Treviso Tecnologia is the Special Agency for Innovation created in 1989 by the
Chamber of Commerce of Treviso in order to promote a business culture based on
innovation with the copnstant the support of :
– development of services and projects with an elevated innovative and
technological content, in cooperation with the university and scientific
institutions;
– The implementation of training programmes aimed at creating
professionalism and specialized, innovative and cosmopolitan skills, within a
lifelong learning context;
– Information and technical support for the fulfilment of projects targeted at
the certification of products and quality management systems.
Treviso Tecnologia acts as a facilitator for the information, training and development
of services, in order to spread technological innovation to business to the
fundamental stimulus of the network made up of research channels, university,
chambers of commerce and public institutions.

Design, development and realization of innovation and technology transfer
projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness of local companies.
Identification and diffusion of funding opportunities within R & D projects and
innovative initiatives, including facilitating the identification of a "partner"
Mapping and helping contacts between the participants involved in research and
technological innovation, linking with existing initiatives and promoting the
exchange of information, methods and networking (examples are the
partnership with the Fraunhofer Institutes, ENEA, and PHILIPS APPTECH and the
European network of the Innovation Relay Centre - IRC).
Consolidation of the diffusion and transfer of technological innovation
throughout the territory, responding to market changes while maintaining the
standards of excellence.

Vocational and Managerial training
• Design, development and realization of training projects for individual firms or
between different firms aimed at increasing the competitiveness of people working
in local companies.
• Identification and diffusion of funding opportunities with the European Social
Fund for training or other opportunities and innovative initiatives.
• Collaboration with High Schools in the Province of Treviso and Universities of the
Region of Veneto for the realization of projects to enter the world of work:
school-to-work transition, specialized training.
• Project and creation of training courses to improve professional skills and
transversal abilities of those people who wish to enter the world of work
particularly in local enterprises, with a professional education.

Where Innoskills start from
This is a transfer project of a previous Leonardo “InnoSupport”
project which evolved in the elaboration of a guide for small
and medium-sized businesses for solving varying problems
which may emerge during work of various nature.
From the result of the project a new version of the Innovation
Guide has been drawn up, translated and contextualized in
5 languages: English, German, Czech, Portuguese and
Italian.

Why InnoSkills
• Innovation processes have less to do with inspiration and more with systematic
work routines
• Need to increase the implementation and use, by SMEs, of innovative
approaches and procedures
• Levels of SMEs competitiveness increase as their employees skills increase
• Innovation must be a transversal process, involving all staff, in particular, those
operating the real change
