Purpose of the Position
The Uganda Country Representative is charged with ensuring successful implementation of
Inclusivity Solutions insurance products as we grow our business in Uganda. She/he serves as a
key representative of Inclusivity Solutions— leading on-the-ground operations, fostering key
relationships, and helping to achieve market leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Country Representative Responsibilities










Ensure high-quality implementation of insurance initiatives by all partners
Oversee local operations, including the management of a small team of Inclusivity
Solutions’ staff, in certain territories
Execute schedules, budgets, strategic business and marketing plans for assigned
territories
Provide input into local sales and distribution strategy in partnership with insurance
companies, mobile operators, and other aggregators
Assist with product and pricing strategy by gathering insights regarding customer
values, preferences, and competitive forces in the marketplace
Identify potential problems and provide solutions to mitigate risks in advance
Manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service
Manage local communication with partners and press (in conjunction with the Chief
Marketing Officer where required)
Represent Inclusivity Solutions at trade shows and other Company events as required
Nurture strong and strategic industry relationships with existing and potential partners
General Responsibilities






Propose personal objectives, targets, and guidelines and measure progress on own KPIs,
in consultation with management
Take a deep-dive, details-oriented approach to Inclusivity’s operations, while bearing in
mind the company’s high-level goals, mission and vision
Collaborate with head office management, while also thriving autonomously
Ensure Inclusivity Solutions’ standards are implemented, maintained and tracked
Play a variety of ad-hoc roles and maintaining flexibility in order to help Inclusivity
Solutions establish itself over its initial years of operations
Serve as the face of the company at all times—presenting and “selling” the concept of
Inclusivity Solutions to others and building the profile of the company.
Requirements










University degree with 3-5+ years’ work experience
Previous experience in office/project management or business operations preferred
Strong business acumen
Experience in or knowledge of local insurance and mobile telecommunications industry
beneficial
Fluent in English with excellent written & verbal communication skills (other languages
like Swahili/Luganda desirable)
Highly driven, determined & business oriented
Strong communications skills
Experience with data analysis
Familiarity in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and to South Africa if required
