T plays the song for ss as background Warm-up Presentation Practice music for several times. 2. When the song goes to the keywords, T takes out the flash cards of red hat, white beard, and eyes and shows them to ss. 3. After showing ss pictures, T asks ss to discuss what they saw in step 2. 1. T lists ss’ answers from warm- up 3 and invites ss to draw their answers on blackboard. 2. T and ss check answers together. 3. T repeats the words and encourages ss to say the words again. 1. T plays the song repeatedly and makes sure that ss can sing the keywords. 2. Divide ss into groups and arrange them to sit in a big circle. 3. Ss sing the song together and pass the flashcards. 4. When T stops music, the one who gets the card needs to stand up and say the word. Production Wrap-up Homework 1. T plays the song and ss sing and walk around the classroom. T assigns each team a key word. 2. When the team is called, ss need to do the action and say the word. 3. T plays the song and ss sing it. 1. When T says the word, ss do the action of the word and vice versa. 4. Encourage ss to see the pictures and say the words (reindeer, snowman, Santa, holidays) and do the action by themselves. 5. T introduces the song to ss and encourages ss to sing it. Practice 4. Give each team a set of mini cards. PPT Mini cards 8 5. When T shows the picture on PPT, ss have to say the word and point to the picture of the word. (Ex: T says “Santa” and ss point to the picture “Santa”) PPT 6. T plays the song and ss sing it and point to the pictures of the key words at the same time. 1. Pair work: Ss walk around the desks and sing the song at the same time when T plays the song. When T stops the song at the key word, ss need to stop and they can’t move. Ss have to say the keyword and point to the picture after T says “Go.” The Production fastest s can get one stamp. 2. Each s of the team needs to take turn to be the leader and be responsible for stopping the song. The leader plays the role of the T and does what T does in pair work.
