“Soft-Skill Training Program”
SIGMA BMC in cooperation with AKTIV, is pleased to announce the open competition for the GIZ funded Youth
Employment Promotion in Kosovo (YEPiK), the ” Soft Skills Training for Young Women in North
Kosovo”.The Soft-Skill Training Program will support selected young women on their journey to employment.
Itwill provide intensive innovative approach pre-employment trainings to help young unemployed women to
overcome their barriers and support to improve the work-readiness. The Soft Skill Training program will begin in
August 2016. Up to twenty five participants will be selected.
You are encouraged to apply if you are:
 A high-school graduate and/or graduate of a vocational training course or a university graduate.
 A motivated young woman from 18 to 30 years age.
 Rural based, economically disadvantaged and actively looking for work (unemployed).
 Resident of North Kosovo including Mitrovica North, Zvecan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok.
 Committed to develop and strengthen soft skills through training.
 Able to travel and attend five (5) day consecutive training.
 Committed to independently seek for internship opportunities.
 Open to networking opportunities and promoting yourself to potential employers.
 Willing to participate in the Ignite Debate that will be organized between youth, local business and civil
society organizations in order to promote the dialogue and strengthen cooperation between these
stakeholders on topic “Internship among young women-challenges and opportunities”.
