II. III. IV. V. Opening Prayer, 6:05p.m. Introductions Minutes – Sent home in blue folder Old Business a. Stadium Seat Cushions are in! Order forms will be going home soon in the blue folder. Price is $15.00. Will also be available during the Honan tournament for purchase. Suggestion to include on the flyer that they could be used as garden kneelers too. b. December Movie Night – Turn out was decent, probably had about 10-12 kids in attendance. Need to improve sound quality in the future. Need options for the kids who don’t want to sit and watch a movie, possibly open the gym up for future events. i. Michelle sent a thank you card to Mrs. O for the popcorn. New Business a. Winter Extra Curricular Recognition, January 8th and 9th i. Michelle will email the church secretary to have an announcement included at mass this weekend. b. Family Night/Open Gym, January 21st 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. i. Michelle will prepare and send out a flyer. No cost to attend, but food donation for SVdP would be welcome/accepted. ii. Will be ordering/picking up Little Caesar’s pizza around 6:30. Families can preorder or orders will be taken at the door until 6:15 p.m. Families would pay for pizzas that they order. iii. Gym will be open and cafeteria – bring games to play or play in the gym iv. Michelle will contact Little Caesar’s to give them a heads up and make sure they are staffed appropriately. c. Catholic Schools Week, January 29th – February 4th i. Doughnuts – January 30th for the students. Mrs. Rogers will order from Wal-Mart in Pekin. Ainsley will pick up at 8:15 a.m. and deliver. Mrs. Rogers will provide Scrip card and tax-exempt card to Ainsley for use. ii. Teacher Appreciation Meal (1st, 4th, and 7th grade), February 3rd i. Michelle will prepare flyer to be sent out in next week’s blue folder. d. Krispy Kreme Fundraiser II, Pick-up scheduled for February 12th i. VII. VIII. ii. Will be combined with Paper Shredding Offer – Krystal e. Prep, Freeze, Cook – would like to host a party for this. i. According to website, for $130 attendees would receive 10 meals that serve on average 5 people. ii. We would choose the meals ahead of time. Everything would be purchased and prepared (chopped), would just need to put together to take home. iii. Party lasts on average 2 hours (possibly 3 with set-up and clean-up) iv. Would host in the school cafeteria and open up to the parish and school families v. Would allow someone to RSVP and possibly have students or others help put together meals if attendee could not or would not want to attend vi. Mrs. Rogers will check with Father Andrejek and see if we could host on a Sunday vii. Ainsley has a Mom Group that has recommendations on which meals to select. She will send that to Michelle. viii. Michelle will bring 15 meal suggestions to next meeting to decided which to select. ix. If this is successful, may consider having these on a more routine basis. f. Quarter Auction i. Explained how these are run and if there would be any interest in hosting one in the future. g. Spirit Wear – if there is any interest may open Spirit Wear up again for an additional order. i. As a reminder, uniform sweatshirts can be ordered/purchased from Sam Harris at any time.
