Workforce Optimisation Consultant Job Location: Reports To: Any FSL site with Travel to other sites Head of Planning Description General Overview Workforce optimisation Consultant understands the business information needs of the company and its stakeholders in making human capital decisions about and in managing employees. The Consultant serves as an internal consultant to senior leaders on workforce planning issues and determines what data is useful to the stakeholders by developing metrics and designing/implementing applicable management reports. The Consultant collaborates with Technology regarding the selection, customisation and use of systems, programs, software and other technology tools associated with workforce planning. Essential Responsibilities Serves as an internal consultant to WFM Managers regarding the use of workforce tools, data and analytics. Understands the Company's strategic and operating plans and workforce utilisation requirements. Acts an SME regarding workforce planning methodology and associated tools/reports Recommends, develops and implements metrics and other measurements for workforce productivity, ROI, headcount optimisation opportunities, etc. to improve business results. Designs, conducts, and directs other staff regarding data gathering, needs assessment and Audit processes to provide data/business intelligence that produces actionable insights. Designs and implements management tools to optimise workforce planning and management (manager dashboards, reports). Designs and implements reports/info tools (in house or directing third-party vendors) that serve as a catalyst for change by helping leaders and managers make data-driven decisions about their workforce (e.g., margins, span of control, headcount demographics, staffing efficiencies, effectiveness of hiring / training processes). Develops and delivers presentations to senior executives regarding workforce dynamics and metrics that impact business outcomes (e.g., improve the effectiveness of NICE WFM, identify specific competencies that drive better business results, enhance employee satisfaction, attract and retain a diverse workforce). Makes recommendations regarding technology and other tools to improvement workforce planning and workforce management. Other duties as assigned or requested. Required Skills & Background: 3-4 years' operating in a similar position with minimum of 2 years of experience in Workforce Planning and headcount forecasting and planning Ideally, good knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations globally Proven experience in workforce planning, organisation and development. Ability to set and manage priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals as needed Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel. Solid interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to manage specific tasks to completion with minimal direction. Strong analytical skills. Must possess strong product, technology and industry knowledge Ability to calculate figures and amounts, ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Broad knowledge of labour management, HR / Payroll, ERP, or similar domain product/systems preferred Must have reasoning skills and possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Preferred Skills and Background Experience in developing and utilising predictive analytics and statistical modelling is a plus. Ability to understand complex business plans/requirements and translate into a Strategic Workforce Plan Excellent project management skills. Experience leveraging HR Systems/technology to create workforce analytics and metrics Knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting and business operations. Solid understanding of an organisation's goals and objectives. Ability to translate and convey complex statistical and other data into easy to understand, actionable recommendations. Demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems.
