StarLogo TNG Mavericks Fix
This document lets you know how to get StarLogo TNG working on a Mac
computer running the Mavericks operating system.
1. Uninstall any version of StarLogo TNG you currently have on your machine.
2. Set up the security settings on your machine to allow it to accept
installation of a program from a non-Apple source. We will reverse this
action once the installation of StarLogo TNG is complete.
a. Go to the Apple icon in the upper left corner. Go to System
Preferences. Find the Security & Privacy Settings:
b. Click on the icon and set the “Allow apps downloaded from:” to
the settings shown below (Anywhere).
3. The next step is to download StarLogo TNG. You can find it here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1986/tngmavericks.dmg
4. This file will probably end up in your Download folder on your Mac. Look in
the Finder on the Left sidebar to find the Download folder.
5. Click on the app and it will install. An installed app will appear as a folder
in the Application directory. You can drag the folder that appears to this
location manually. You can now open and use StarLogo TNG!
6. Make sure you go back and reverse Step 2.
