Subject: Invitation to attend Faculty Development and Training Program organized by Vikram University
in collaboration with the Spoken Tutorial Project - IIT Bombay
Dear Sir/Madam,
In reference to the above subject, I invite HOD/Director/Prinicipal along with two faculty (who will be
co-ordinator for Spoken Tutorial Project) from your SoS/Institute/College to attend Faculty
Development and Training Program organized by the Vikram University in collaboration with the
Spoken Tutorial Project - IIT Bombay. This program will be on how to Organize Software Training
Workshops in your SoS/Institute/College using the Spoken Tutorials Audio-Visual technology.
Certificates will also be awarded to students after completion of training.
About Training:
1. This training is provided free of cost by a unique audio-video instructional tool which is available
in CDs/DVDs and very easily downloadable from Spoken Tutorial Project website.

2. Training is free, as it is funded by MHRD, NMEICT.
3. This Project aims to make India IT-Literate and enhance employability.
Date of Faculty Development and Training Program will be announced later on.
Manadatory requrirment expected from SoS/Institute/College:
HOD/Director/Principal will submit 2 coordinators name in advance to University.

All the HODs/Directors/principals will make sure that faculty coordinator who are coming for training
should decide and bring in following details in advance for organizing spoken tutorial session in their
colleges after attending faculty development and training program. They will submit the following
details to University in advance.

At the end of the Training program participation certificate will be awarded to all participants from The
Spoken Tutorial Project - IIT Bombay.
All India the response to this training is overwhelmingly positive, over 5 lakh students and teachers have
been trained in the past 4 years. Clearly this training is much in demand by students.
