Principal’s Message
As I sit at the keyboard, trying to write my final message in the weekly newsletter; I find it hard
to come up with the words to share all that I am feeling and want to say to you. Shortly after
coming to RCV, I began saying that I was the luckiest person in all of MCPS and I have continued
to feel that way each and every day that I have been here. You have gifted me with the
opportunity to work with your children and each day that I watch the magic that occurs
between my staff and your children I realize that there will never be another experience that
compares with this. You have shown, shared, and taught me so many things that will never
leave me and I am eternally grateful for your generosity of spirit and your commitment to our
school community. I leave you with a full heart, but as I have shared throughout this past week;
a piece of my heart will always remain at 5121 Russett Road.
