Radiation Therapy Volume
1. Use the corresponding data sheet to input historical cancer cases treated and treatment
counts by machine and major cancer site using FY2010 data (Cases are defined as patient
counts and treatments are defined as applications or visits; a patient/case can have several
treatments during their entire course of therapy)
2. Use the blue highlighted cells to input the total cancer cases treated and treatment counts by
machine and by major cancer site for all machines. The numbers that you see already filled in
for the totals were figures that were previously reported to the MN Department of Health,
please update these as necessary
3. If you do not have the cancer case count and treatment volume by primary cancer site
please at a minimum provide the aggregrate volume by machine
type
4. If we do not have the correct machines listed for your facility please make any required
adjustments to the column headers; if we are missing any machines please feel free to add
those into your count.
5. Please contact us with any questions regarding the data request. We appreciate your
cooperation in filling out the corresponding data sheet to the best of your ability.

includes days open per week and hours open per day.
2. Input the maximum daily treatment capacity by machine for your facility.
