VISHWAKARMA YOJANA

Gujarat Technological University has taken a prestigious project of Vishwakarma Yojana from
Government of Gujarat. The Project is aimed to provided design to delivery solution for the
development of villages of Gujarat Sate through concept of Rurbanisation. The theme of the
project is “ Atma Gaon Ki Suvidha Shaher Ki”. The pilot project for 71 villages is already
successfully completed through the final year students of diploma and degree engineering
under GTU. Now we are in phase-II of the project covering 175 plus villages.
Along with technical survey of the project villages Honorable Vice Chancellor GTU desires to
carry out survey based on socio-economic reforms , generation of employment opportunity ,
setting up of local industry zone and related issues. This work ca n be taken up by student of
MBA institutions under GTU as part of their second year project.
GTU invite willingness from MBA institutions for participation in this project. Students working
under this project will be provided monthly stipend as per the norms of GTU for this project and
the work done will be awarded credits as decided by the committee.
