I’m sure that Stacia’s parents, Suzanne and Matthew Boynton are spending the last few weeks of their daughter’s time in High
school thinking back about the little girl who not too long ago cradled baby chicks in her tiny hands at nursery school. Was it
yesterday? Last week? Like so many parents they must be very proud of their daughter and all that she has achieved through
hard work and determination. She’s made wonderful friends and had many blessings.
What I want to talk about is a young girl who obviously had a lot more going on inside than the average teenager when she
showed up at my door one day with a bunch of her friends in tow. She greeted me with a big smile and said, “We want to help
you with the Magical Moon knights. We heard about what you do and we want to be a part of it in any way you need us.” Stacia
had rallied her basketball team to come to the Magical Moon Farm to see what they could do to get involved.
Not very long after that day, the team adopted Sir Jaclyn, Knight of Inspiration as their hero. They sponsored a Friends of Jaclyn
night at Duxbury High School and started a long and lasting bond with a little girl living with a brain tumor. The girls overlooked
anything that was going on in their lives to reach out to help someone else. They saw Jaclyn as an inspiration. She showed them
how to go after things that you believe in with every ounce of strength you have. Afterwards, Stacia and good friend Julia Riley
went on to helping the Magical Moon Foundation continue to grow. Stacia understood on a deep level how one person cam
change your whole life. She wanted to continue to help others. She put into action a program called the Magical Moon’s
Traveling Sweatshirt. It was an idea born of a book and movie called the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. The project involved
putting a note book together for the knights to add thoughts and pictures of their adventures as they took turns wearing the
magical sweatshirts. Stacia and Julia presented the idea to the Knights at A Magical Moon Round Table Knighting ceremony that
summer. She stood up with Julia at her side and ten knights all around as she gave the most inspiring speech on courage.
She told the knights that each time they received the shirt and notebook that it would become more magical and help them and
their fellow knights on their journey.

As Stacia Boynton prepares to leave home for college she is handing down the privilege of the traveling sweatshirt to her
younger sister Miranda to keep the project going forward for the knights. Each time a sweatshirt is sent on to a new knight to wear
Miranda will be in charge of sending it with the continued love from her big sister and all the other knights. The irony to this story
is that Stacia first heard about the Magical Moon Knights through her then very little sister Miranda as she wove beautiful
bracelets to give to the Knights of the Magical Moon . On behalf of the Magical Moon Army of friends and family and knights I
would like to thank Stacia for all the hard work, heart and time she has put into supporting our courageous knights and wish her a
bright and happy future at------------------ .

On behalf of all the knights of the Magical Moon,
These pictures say it all. Friendship is the best medicine for all of us.
Jaclyn, are those pancakes going to be in your new cookbook?
Thank you Stacia !
