God has visited his people. This beautiful original oil painting of St Joseph holding his son Jesus, by the Peruvian artist Lucy Mendoza, has come to St Augustine. It is placed in the St Joseph Shrine in our church. The St Joseph Shrine is meant to be a place to pray for all fathers, as they carry out their responsibilities. Pope Francis has spoken often of St Joseph as a model for fathers. We still need donations to complete payment on this painting of St Joseph and Jesus. The Divine Mercy is a favorite devotion of many of our church members, and they have asked for a permanent image of the Divine Mercy in our church. So, we also would like to bring this painting of the Divine Mercy to St Augustine. The cost for the Divine Mercy is very reasonable, around $250. Would you be able to make a gift towards the cost of these sacred art pieces for our church? If you can, please indicate “Paintings” on your donation. Thank you for making this possible.
