Saint Leo University Pool Membership Fees Info & Application Summer 2014 Saturday, May 24th, 2014 Saint Leo University opens the University Pool to the community through Sunday, August 15th, 2014. Regular hours of operation will be daily 12:00pm to 6:00pm. However, hours can be adjusted and will be posted outside the pool. Once Membership application, waiver, and proper payment is received – members will be placed on the Master Membership list and will be required to check in with the Desk attendant located at the main pool entry gate. Saint Leo University Aquatic Center and Pool Waiver I, ________________________________________(print name), on behalf of myself, my heirs, and representatives, in consideration of my being permitted to participate in and attend the Saint Leo University Pool during the 2013 Summer (hereinafter “Event”), hereby release Saint Leo University, its Board of Trustees, individual Board Members, its President, employees, agents, and volunteers (hereinafter the “releases”), from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, and causes of action, including but not limited to actions caused by the negligent of any Release, arising from or related to my travel to, participation in, or attendance at the Event. To Ensure prompt care and attention in case of sickness, injury, or accident, I hereby authorize Saint Leo University or its duly authorized representatives to incur expense for medical treatment reasonably necessary for my health and welfare, and further agree and promise to pay any and all such expense incurred in excess of the amount paid pursuant to any accident, health or other policy of insurance providing coverage at the time of sickness, injury, or accident. No person may use the pool unless it is officially open and the lifeguards are on duty. Hours are posted outside of the pool gate entrance. 2. All instructions given by the lifeguards are to be followed. 3. It is required that anyone coming from exercise and/or is sweaty needs to shower before entering the pool. 4. All persons are required to check in the attendant to show SLU ID or sign-in with a community membership or day pass – with a waiver on file; or be with an approved group. 5. If you are not a member of SLU, you must purchase a guest pass. 6. Admission to the Pool may be denied for any of the following reasons: a. Intoxication b. Open sores, wounds, skin infections c. Any condition or evidence, which in the opinion of the manager would jeopardize the health and safety of the membership. 7. No running allowed. Patrons must walk in pool and restroom areas. 8. Diving is permitted only in the deep end. Please note signs around pool edges. 9. No Ball throwing, with exception of beach balls. 10. Running, pushing, causing undue disturbance, or any conduct that may endanger the welfare of self or other patrons is prohibited. 11. Proper swimming attire must be worn. Cotton T-shirts are not permitted. 12. Spitting, blowing of nose into pool or onto deck, improper public displays of affection, and profanity are prohibited. 13. Glass containers or breakable objects of any kind are not permitted in the pool area, restrooms, or outside deck. 14. All injuries occurring within the pool area or restrooms must be reported to the lifeguard on duty. 15. Smoking is not permitted inside the pool gates, or within 50 feet of the pool facility. 16. No animals are permitted in the pool or on the pool deck. 17. The Saint Leo University assumes no liability for the loss or theft of personal belongings. Items left in pool area at the end of the day will be placed in the pool’s lost and found. 18. The lifeguards or Director of Aquatics may close any portions of or the entire pool complex for any safety or maintenance reason. 19. The lifeguards and Director of Aquatics have the authority to enforce these rules and may remove any patron who violates these rules from the Saint Leo University Pool, as well as revoke memberships for habitual and/or egregious acts. 20. Patrons that are not potty trained must wear water diapers. 21. Food and Drink are not permitted in the pool area. Clear water bottles are permitted. 22. Emergency Action plans are to be followed when instructed by the Aquatics staff.
