A MESSAGE FROM YOUR MAYOR
Kings Mountain was so beautiful during the first snowstorm of the year. It was the kind of snow fall that
makes you want to go outdoors and enjoy yourself. The City of Kings Mountain’s Street Department
went above and beyond keeping the streets clear and safe! They really got an early start on the roads
and because of their efforts we really could enjoy the event. I had a great time sledding down my hill. I
used a 55 gallon drum and filled it halfway with water and rolled it down the hill to pack the snow down
nice and firm. Please scan the QR Code with your smartphone and enjoy the video of me and my best
friend sledding in the snow!
