DIVERSITY DAY ASSIGNMENT/PROJECT for ALL Primary School

DIVERSITY DAY ASSIGNMENT/PROJECT
for ALL Primary School Students
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Upper Moreland Primary School will celebrate “Diversity Day” on Thursday, January
15, 2016. This special day will give our children an opportunity to learn and appreciate the
uniqueness and differences of others. On “Diversity Day”, each child will be able to share with his/her classmates
what makes him/her so special, as well as his/her family. You may remember last year children created a “Me Kit.”
This year, in order to do this, we are asking each child to create a “My Family Photo Album.”
The album should consist of:
• A cover
• Three pages of photos/pictures along with a short description
We are aware of how our students come from many different kinds of families.
