Residents Indicate They’d Prefer a Quieter Missouri Hall As you may have heard, we’ll be taking a strong look at noise in Missouri Hall and how we can make it a more peaceful place for everyone. Back in November, everyone had a chance to take a survey, and 250 of you did. We just got back the data, and one of the areas marked for improvement was noise in the building. January 30, 2013 People indicated that MO is too loud and that a quieter hall could help them sleep and study better. So we all need to work on that. One thing you should know is that staff is keeping track of rooms they warn for small quiet hours violations and documenting larger situations. People or areas with three warnings, as well as people in large noise situations, will face conduct meetings regarding their behavior. We can all work on being more respectful of everyone and minding our noise at night in all parts of the building. Share Your Ideas and Concerns on Noise Over Dinner We’d like to tailor the response to noise to address the actual issues impacting residents the most.
