Michelle Melia
Director of Instruction
The 2008 LPGA National Golf Coach of the year, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for golf
instruction to the Twin Brook Golf Learning Center.
Michelle began her professional golf career in 1996, following a successful amateur career in which she
competed at Rutgers University and nationally. Since 1996, Michelle has operated and directed highly successful
golf instruction programs which have been noted for their innovative approach for growing the game.
Michelle has also been a Division I golf coach at Rutgers University, Monmouth University, and most recently,
Fairleigh Dickinson University. For her efforts at Fairleigh Dickinson University, she was named the 2008 “LPGA
National Golf Coach of the Year,” the 2008 “Northeast LPGA Coach of The Year,” and the 2008 “Northeast
Conference Coach of The Year.”
Passionate about junior golf, Michelle has been involved with the First Tee, Total Golf Adventures, and the LPGA
Girls Golf Club. In 2007, she was honored with the “LPGA Northeast Junior Leader Award.” Michelle also was
featured on Fox Sports Network, as a lead instructor for stroke survivors, a distinction that echoes her belief that
golf is the true national pastime and her insistence in believing in the limitless potential of all of her students.

Twin Brook Golf Learning Center Training Area
The Twin Brook Golf Learning Center is a premier teaching facility offering the very best of instruction
in a relaxed environment. Located in Tinton Falls, NJ, the TBLC has a full teaching area, including two
short game areas, and a two-tiered covered and heated hitting area in case of inclement weather. All
lessons include the use of state-of-the-art video analysis in order for your instructors to develop an
individualized lesson plan to enable you to reach your goals.
We believe that golf is meant to be played. Therefore, many of our private lessons and golf schools will
include “on the course instruction.” Lessons are available 7 Days a week from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm,
weather permitting.

2015 Summer Camps
Our week long Junior Camps are a great way to get your “kid hooked on golf”! All aspects of golf
will be covered, including rules, etiquette, contests, and on the course instruction. All equipment
is included and each participant will receive a T-Shirt, snacks, and awards. 8:1 Student-Teacher
Ratio. Ages 7-14.
Our camps are 5 day, 3 hours per day, fun filled instructional programs, held Monday – Friday.
Sessions are from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Ages are 7-14 and students will be grouped by age with
an 8:1 student-teacher ratio.
In the fifteen hours of instruction, the students will work on all aspects of the game, including rules
and etiquette, and “the course” experiences. Please have your child dress in “active wear”
including golf shoes or sneakers. Snacks, Water, and T-Shirt will be provided.

Golf for women, taught by a woman golf professional. Designed for the new woman player, this
