Two examples of customized group packages:
Alsettimocielo, in seventh heaven, offers customized package trips to Umbria/Tuscany. The
packages are composed on desire of the client and by mutual agreement between the client and
alsettimocielo.
Prices from 1290 euro per person per week, based on a stay in a 2-persons bedroom and 7
participants.
Hereunder we’ll give you two examples of possible packages. Of course combinations are
possible. Changes can be made by mutual agreement. Apart from that we can propose more
possibilities.
I. CUL(I)TURE, a trip with a stress on ‘being pampered’
Day 1:
arrival at Roma airport; organized transport to alsettimocielo
arrival al settimo cielo, in seventh heaven, where the celestials are waiting for them; travelers
settle down in their accommodations; welcome dinner offered by alsettimocielo.
Day 2:
Visit to Orvieto. Walking tour through the town, visiting the famous cathedral, several musea, lunch
in one of the many restaurants.
After lunch free program for shopping, further visits etc.
Dinner in a restaurant, partnered with alsettimocielo.
Day 3:
a. creative activity as desired: felting (which can be considered as painting with wool), painting,
ceramics (either decorating fired plates/saucers/cups or raku). Lunch at alsettimocielo. In the late
afternoon we may visit the local potter
or
b. guided trekking starting from alsettimocielo
Visit to Ficulle, eventually to the cimitero (grave yard), followed by dinner in one of the local
restaurants.
Day 4:
Surprise excursion; we only reveal that it is about architecture.
Lunch at Montegiove’s Castle, visit to the castle
Visit to Città della Pieve, Pietro Perugino’s birth place
Dinner in a restaurant, partnered with alsettimocielo.
Day 5:
Visit to Assisi, lunch there, partially free program
Dinner in Ficulle at ‘Il Paese mio, da Matteo’, a beautifully restored olive oil press.
Day 6:
Visit to the sculpture park of Daniel Spoerri, lunch in a restaurant in the park.
Final dinner al settimo cielo and offered by alsettimocielo.
Day 7:
Departure.
II. FOOD, WINE AND CULINARY ART, a trip with a stress on learning about Italian cuisine
by being taught and doing it yourself
Day 1:
arrival at Roma airport; organized transport to alsettimocielo
arrival al settimo cielo, in seventh heaven; travelers settle down in their accommodations;
welcome dinner offered by alsettimocielo.
Day 2:
Visit to Orvieto. Walking tour through the town, visiting the famous cathedral, several musea, lunch
in one of the many restaurants
After lunch free program for shopping, further visits etc.
Visit to Il Palazzo del Gusto for wine tasting; they collect all the Umbrian wines
Dinner in a restaurant, partnered with alsettimocielo.
Day 3:
Visit to a biological cheese maker (peccorino, ricotta etc. that comes from sheep’s milk)
Pranzo del pastore, shepherd’s lunch
Visit to Vita Longa, a wine producer in Ficulle
Dinner at Vita Longa.
Day 4:
Make your own traditional hand made pasta under supervision of two local Mama’s. The mama’s
are most willing to reveal their kitchen secrets and teach you how to make the suitable sauces.

Day 5:
Visit to Bolsena, boat tour on the lake

Visit to Cività di Bagnoregio

Day 6:
Visit to Montepulciano (Tuscany), ia the famous historical wine cellars
Lunch in ( the neigbourhood of ) Montepulciano
After lunch we’ll make a tour, visiting a wine producer, eventually Città della Pieve, Monteleone,
Ficulle.
Final dinner al settimo cielo and offered by alsettimocielo.
Day 7:
Departure.
Terms and conditions
PRICE
From 1290 euro per person per week, based on a stay in a double room and 7 participants.
6 participants, double room: 1375 euro per person per week.
5 participants, double room 1490 euro per person per week.
If available it is possible to have a single room, which costs 250 euro per week extra.
DEPOSIT
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with full amounts due 60 days
prior to arrival.
THE FEE INCLUDES
• Minibus airport transfer on arrival and departure from/to Rome airport. Transfer from/to another
airport can be arranged for an extra supplement each way per group.
• Minibus transport to and from any excursions to and from alsettimocielo
• Accommodation with all breakfasts at alsettimocielo, all dinners and all lunches, modest wine
consumption included (2 glasses with each meal)
• One cooking session, creative activity or trekking
• Guided excursions as outlined in the itinerary (or equivalent in case of changes to the itinerary,
owing to circumstances beyond our control )
• All art materials and tuition as specified in the itinerary
• Entrance tickets to all excursions

60 - 41 days notice -50% of total rate refunded (excluding the 25%
non-refundable deposit)
40 - 21 days notice -25% of total rate refunded. (excluding the 25%
non-refundable deposit)
Less than 21 days notice - no refund.
The calculation of the days does not include the day of withdrawal. Cancellation notice must be
received by e-mail, fax, or letter. Any bank charges on refunds are at your expense. There is no
refund if the trip is cancelled due to reasons beyond the control of The Retreat (Force majeure,
exceptional circumstances or other situations that are not chargeable to The Retreat).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Minimum number: 5 maximum 7 participants
TRIP CANCELLATION:
Cancellation of participation by the customer is permitted under the cancellation policy outlined
above. The Retreat reserves the right to cancel the trip due to the lack of a minimum number of
participants by giving written notice to the customer up to 4 weeks before the expected arrival. In
case The Retreat cancels the tour package for any reason before departure, except in cases in
which the minimum number of participants has not been reached or for unavoidable
circumstances, the customer may chose from:
another tour package of the same price or more at no additional cost;
a less expensive package and receive a refund of the difference;
or a total refund of payment within 7 weekdays from the date on which the client reveals his
choice.
COMPLAINTS:
Complaints must be forwarded immediately in such a way that The Retreat can solve the problem
directly. The customer can also forward a complaint via e-mail - with sent message confirmation to
[email protected] within 10 weekdays exactly from the date of the trip/services.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer is expected to be adequately insured ( i.e. damage / theft/ accidents/ illness/general
calamities etc.) and proceed according to the rules of common sense and safety, the rules set out
by The retreat, as well as expected to abide by the laws of the country which he is visiting. The
customer who does not respect the above mentioned rules, will be held responsible for any
damages to The Retreat.
COMPETENT COURT
Any possible controversy will be judged by the arrondissementsrechtbank Arnhem, the
Netherlands.
