step 2: Connect Motor Power Output Cord from top of umbrella to Motor
Power Output Outlet on Solar Panel. Connect Switching Power Cord from
top of umbrella to Switching Power Outlet on Solar Panel.

Step 2 (c): Attach Solar Panel to
Solar Panel Housing on top of
umbrella.

Step 3: Insert bottom pole into top pole. Align holes in top pole
with buttons in bottom pole to insure proper connection.
Step 1: Remove solar panel's 3 battery covers, insert 6 batteries, and
replace battery covers.

Charging Instructions
The remote control receiver
bandwidth is 1.6Mhz.
1. Place the umbrella in sunlight to
charge the solar cells.
2. Plug the included AC charger
into the remote control to charge it.
When the indicator light turns green,
the remote is charged.

Warnings:
1. Please keep umbrella closed if you aren't using it.
2. Please do not place remote control in direct sun or rain.
3. Do not use the umbrella in winds over Class 6 (about 15 mph).
4. Please do not over tighten the crank, as this can damage the internal structure.
5. Please follow Care Instructions for the Solar Panel and batteries. Dispose of batteries properly.
6. Be sure to use a heavy umbrella stand to prevent umbrella from tipping over.
Damage may result if the umbrella falls.
