Patterns, Algebra, and Expressions
• We will be focusing on finishing
number patterns, verifying their rules
with algebraic expressions, and
algebraic expressions.
Social Studies
We are learning about how our
state and government works. We will be
learning about the three branches of
government. We will be reading about
citizenship this week as well.
Grammar:
Object Pronoun - takes the place of one or
more nouns in the predicate of a sentence.
Subject pronouns include me, you, him,
her, it, us, them.
A SUBJECT PRONOUN COMES AFTER THE
VERB!
Examples:
Why does my brother always pester me?
The mom went to the store to buy him a
poster board.
Vocabulary:
vocabulary words will be in your
reading packet for the Roald Dahl book studies.
