47TH ANNUAL MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
Our 47th Annual Membership Meeting was held Friday, February 27th at the Marietta Country Club. The theme
for the evening was “Building a Brighter Future, Together.” During the dinner hour, our featured speaker, John
Wharff, Owner Jawco Inc., and President, WMOA/WJAW Radio, shared many interesting stories. Each one
illustrated the relationship between cause and effect using the concept of “Event + Response = Outcome”, recently
popularized by The OSU Buckeye football team.
Riverview’s CEO, Mike Iaderosa, provided an overview of key 2014 accomplishments and objectives for 2015.
During the formal business meeting Mark Minerd and W. Layne Marks were re-elected to serve a three-year term
and membership overwhelmingly approved the proposed new by-laws.

14TH ANNUAL BUDDY BASS TOURNEY SET
The 14th Annual Buddy Bass Tournament will be held at the Belpre Civitan boat ramp on Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Entry is open to members and non-members alike for a $40 entry fee per boat. Applications will be accepted until
7:00am on the day of the tournament. This is a “buddy” tournament, but you do not have to have a partner to
participate. One half of all entry fees will be paid to the American Cancer Society. The other half of the entry fees
are paid to the winning contestants.
Entry forms were included in the March statement mailing. Additional copies are available at either RCU office.
Return completed forms to RCU, along with the $40 entry fee. The fee must

credit union as we celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month™. This
year’s theme, “Wild About Saving™,” encourages youth to use resources
available at the credit union to help them cut their way through the jungle
of financial responsibility. Before long, they’ll be leading their own savings
safari.
