The Powderbuff Volleyball Tournament is tonight from 7-9 in the big gym. All students and their
families are welcome! Admission is $5 at the door and pizza, snacks, and drinks will be sold.
The TedEd Club will hold their first meeting today after school in room A201 from 2:25 to 2:55pm.
Attention all boys basketball players, any boys that played basketball this past season please meet in
the health room today at 2:30. It will be a brief meeting but we need all players there. Andre Drummond
and Ben Wallace will be there to talk about a camp they are running here.
The class of 2018 will be collecting money in B202 in memory of Mrs. Seise for cancer research "Turn
the Town Teal Foundation". Please see Mrs. Ganfi and Mrs. Saab in B202 to buy your sunflower petals.
Throughout next week, Fordson Fun Facts will be posted around the school for a scavenger hunt! Listen
closely to the announcements for each riddle to find where it is! First people to get all answers wins a
Fordson Prize Pack! YOU MUST PICK A SHEET UP MONDAY MORNING TO BE APART OF THIS
ACTIVITY by the Tractor!!! Let's Go Fordson!
What's that you have no Fordson Gear!! Well you’re in luck before and after school this week Student
Government will be selling sweatshirts, T-Shirts, Long Sleeve Shirts, Hats, and other gear by the
tractor!! Come and show your pride here at FHS. They are sold throughout the year in Ms. Altomonte’s
room, A106, as well.
Fordson is partnering with the Salvation Army to collect clothes for the Clothes Drive. Bring any gently
used clothes to the Fordson Tractor in the Mornings any time between Monday, March 20th till Friday,
March 24th, or see Ms. Altomonte in room A106 to donate!!
Prepare for the Maize and Navy blue take over! To celebrate the day Fordson was built Wed. March
22nd. Dress up in Fordson Gear and show your school pride! The best outfits will win a gift card to Tim
Hortons starting at 15 dollars!

The Interact Club will be collecting medical items, food, and baby needs for refugees in Greece. Our goal
is to fill a shipping container and send it over! Please see Ms. Naura or Mrs. Ayoub for details.
Yearbooks are still on sale: They are now $80 and limited supplies are available. It is first come first
serve for the remaining books. Don't let your memories fade away! See Mrs. Kubitz in C203 before 1st
hour or during all three lunches.

Counseling
University of Michigan-Dearborn Student Government we will be hosting an anti-bullying event on
March 17th from 1pm-3pm on Friday, March 17th. This is the National Day of Action against violence.
They will have speakers about antibullying, violence, discrimination, and a then we will be making
stars for the One Million Stars to End Violence Project that is going on worldwide. The project is making
stars to symbolize doing what we can to end violence and not contribute to it.
