We are looking for a Spray Booth Painter with at least 2+ years prior experience prepping, preparing and handling
spray paint, and creating high quality finishes. Sign industry experience is preferred, but auto painting experience is
acceptable. The Spray Booth Painter must be able to spray plastic sign faces and architectural millwork materials and
is responsible for painting components according to job specifications and Peregrine quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Determine requirements of all job orders and components received;
Use compressed air to remove all dust and dirt;
Wipe down, prepare pieces;
Prepare paint mix for sprayer according to color specifications, safety standards and manufacturer’s
requirements;
Transport parts into paint booth and spray with primer or adhesion promoter;
Apply paint per manufacturer’s specifications allowing for appropriate flash times;
Thoroughly cleans spray gun, tools and workspace following each job;
Reviews painted pieces for quality issues after paint has dried to touch and alerts supervisor if there is a
problem.

High School Diploma and/or equivalent Trade School Certification;
Two years or more of related work experience;
Previous painting experience in a production environment;
Works well in a team environment;
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules;
Exceptional attention to detail;
Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures, WHIMIS;
Record of working safely and maintaining good relationships on the job;
Follow written and verbal instructions;
You should be comfortable working at a fast pace while maintaining quality, attention to detail and striving to
meet project deadlines;
Valid Driver’s license;
Stand for 8-10 hours per day.
Wage/Salary: $22 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Details: Full-time position - Monday to Friday. Morning & Afternoon shifts available.
