Believing that special events set the tone of a
community, the City of York has created a way
for individuals to support special events and
personally make a difference in the city where
they live, work and play. The Friends of York
City Special Events is a program that allows
individuals to make a monetary donation that
they are comfortable with. Even the smallest
donation makes a significant difference.
Our special events are funded through corporate
sponsorships, vendor fees, grants, and private
donations. The City of York wants to ensure the
success of future special events by enlisting the
support of individuals through this program.
By becoming a Friend of York City Special
Events, you are monetarily supporting the City’s
special events as well as serving as an advocate
for the future of these beloved community
traditions. Now that’s something to celebrate!
