St John`s needs you - St John the Apostle Whetstone

St John’s needs you
With Jo Mason’s upcoming move to Cheshunt, she feels that the Jam sessions on
Monday mornings will be harder to manage. This group is a successful
Community effort and it would be a shame not to have it. Is there anyone who
feels that they could take on this venture please? Please talk to Revd Lynn if this
is something you can take on.
We are looking for new people to add to our rota of those who can read the
lessons, lead the prayers & welcome visitors at the door. If you would like to be
added to the list please see Brian or Rob.
We are also looking for new people to add to our choir! If you would like to
join—please see Janet Hollington and/or Angela
Mary Longfellow has for the past 30 or so years been organising the coffee/tea
rota and reckons it’s time to hang up her sugar tongs. It’s an important part of
church life and many a decision has been made over a cuppa/glass after Mass.
We have a young thriving congregation now so.............over to you! The more
people on the rota the less you do.
We continue a sermon series on Church Vision, looking at how we might equip
ourselves for this exciting new season in the life of St John's, Whetstone.
If you do your shopping at Waitrose, please remember to place your GREEN
discs in the box marked for “St John’s C of E Primary School, Whetstone”
