Summerville Spring Newsletter Happy Easter at Summerville Residents have been busy preparing for Easter festivities. They have been working on beautiful Easter hats, cakes, flower decorations. Our Easter party was a great success and residents thoroughly enjoyed the music by Paddy Kelly. Thanks to all the family members who came out to celebrate with Residents. William turns 100!!! Huge Congratulations to our resident William Ward who turned the big 100 this month. William received his Centenarian Bounty letter from President Michael D. Higgins. This was proudly displayed in a beautiful frame during Williams Birthday celebrations! Easter Reflection It is impossible to exaggerate the value of hope. Hope is to the spirit what bread is to the body. Our disappointments may be many, Our joys may be small, bur our hope is great. The resurrection of Jesus is the basis of our hope. God of power and love, through the resurrection of your Son, You have kindled in our hearts the hope of eternal life. Guard this hope with your grace And bring it to fulfillment in the kingdom of heaven. Fr. Leo Henry. Spring Closet Clear out!! As the warmer weather approaches we would advise residents and their family members to consider a closet clear out of those warm winter woollies. If residents would like to recycle any clothing we will provide a box in the library which will be donated to Sligo Social Services. We would like to take this opportunity to remember those Residents who passed away this year.
