Health Check will be done after check in or registration. Any sick or parasite infested
animals will not be allowed in the barn, they will be turned away.
Classes will be called 2 times, you are responsible to report to the tables. If you are showing
on another 4-H table; let someone know & we will do what we can to switch table
Conformation animals may be taken to the table by another member (ADULTS are NOT to handle
animals)

Rules For Showing

Pre-registration must be postmarked no later than Saturday, May 13, 2017
Full payment must accompany all entries.

Make checks payable to: Clackamas County 4-H Small Animal Advisory.

Entry fees are $3.00 per bird for pre-registration, or $6.00 day of show for Showmanship only!!
Day of Registration will NOT include Conformation of bird!
5. Showmanship is required and the entry form MUST be checked according to exhibitors age group.
6. One exhibitor per entry form; copy off entry forms as needed.
7. All birds must have numbered leg bands for identification purposes.
8. Showmanship classes will be: Clover Buds – ages 5-8; Juniors – ages 9-11; Intermediates – ages 1214; Seniors ages 15-19. All ages are as of September 1, 2016. Oregon 4-H rules will apply.
9. Showmanship dress shall be: clean white long sleeved shirt and dark long pants or skirt; FFA
uniforms are acceptable.
10. Confirmation classes are: 1) Birds that are bred to the American Poultry Association Standard/ABA of
Perfection, 2) Non- Standard Bred to APA/ABA Standard of Perfection, 3) Production, Hens only
4) Pigeons.
11. Health Check at Check in. Heightened Health check protocol. All Waterfowl will be pre-checked
outside the building. No sick or diseased birds will be allowed to show and the owner will be asked to
remove the bird from the fairgrounds.
12. Birds not originating from Oregon should be from an NPIP certified flock...
13. Your participation constitutes your agreement to hold harmless the Clackamas County 4-H Small
Animal Advisory and the Clackamas County Extension Service for any harm or damage to persons or
property.
