SAW Dust and Directory
SAW Dust is a Newsletter filled with informative
articles on all aspects of scrollsawing. The
Newsletter regularly features projects, products,
books, video, and show reviews. The Directory
is a comprehensive resource directory of SAW
members, book & video list, Local Chapters, and
more.
Local Chapters.
Local Chapters of SAW are located all around
the country. This is where scrollers gather to
meet and make new friends and to share the
hands -on experience of scrolling with others.

you.
Patrick Spielman Memorial
Scholarship Program
The Patrick Spielman Memorial Scholarship
program is aimed at individuals attending a 4
year university or trade school with a major in
Education.
Opportunity Grant
The Opportunity Grant is aimed at Local Chapters, to be used for the education of their members and/or to provide speakers for their meetings.
The amount of each Scholarship/Grant and the
number of awards given in a particular year is
dependent on the available funds. You can donate to these funds by entering the amount of
your tax deductible donation in the space provided.

Purposes and Goals
The Scrollsaw Association of the World
(SAW) is an international, non -profit
organization dedicated to the advancement of
scrollsawing. It is made up of individual
members, local chapters, and a nine -member
volunteer board of directors.
Our fundamental purpose is to provide
education, information, and organization to
those interested in the art of scrollsawing.
Membership is open to anyone with an
interest in scrollsawing.
New programs are always in development by
SAW to aid in the growth of scrolling and to
develop the skill level of individual scrollers.
Some of the programs developed up to now
include: Scholarships, Opportunity Grants,
ACES (Anyone Can Enjoy Scrolling), SAW
sponsored contests, and many others.
Your paid membership in the Scrollsaw
Association of the World includes a
subscription to our quarterly newsletter SAW
Dust, and a copy of our resource Directory.
A portion of each membership fee is directed
towards the Scholarship and Grant programs.
SAW also supports an official web site at
http://www.saw -online.com, the most comprehensive scrollsaw resource available online.
Memberships run from receipt of your
application through the same month of the
following year.
