learned about the regions of the United States and individual states. Each book will
feature student generated chapters for the states within that region. This project
allows students to apply skills that have been learned throughout the year such as
researching, note taking, writing and technology skills.

Now I am going to tell you about the geography in the West. The land in
Colorado is bumpy and has lots of mountains. In Colorado the population is
5,116,796. In Colorado the state capital is Denver. The bordering states are New
Mexico,Utah,Wyoming,Nebraska,Kansas,and Oklahoma. The average
temperature in January in Colorado is twenty to thirty degrees Fahrenheit.

money by its amusement parks and its farmers. The agriculture is live stock and

famous person? George Washington is the famous person that is named after
Washington state. Washington is in the middle of Oregon trails. Oregon trails is the
one trail that, all the settlers went to or through. That's what I think is special about
Washington State. The state Washington has Wallace Wallace onions. Some people
call it Walla Walla Washington, but that's not it's nick name
