PRODUCT DATASHEET 440-3 Omni Exposed Dipole Antenna, 140-150, 5.1dBi, N Male These broadband antennas provide both omnidirectional and offset configurations. The 440 is a two dipole structure providing either 3 dBd gain omni or 6 dBd gain offset (field adjustable). Standard bandwidths available are 140-150 MHz (440-3), 150-162 MHz (440-1), and 162-174 MHz (440-2). FEATURES / BENEFITS Solid rod radiators minimize possibility of damage. Weatherproof design eliminates moisture problems. Molded insulators improve resistance to temperature and humidity extremes. 440 Series Technical Features ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS Horizontal Pattern Offset Frequency Range MHz 140 - 150 Horizontal Beamwidth deg N/A Electrical Downtilt deg 0.0 Gain dBi (dBd) Vertical Beamwidth deg Polarization 5.1 (3) 33.0 Vertical VSWR < 1.5:1 Bandwidth for 1.5:1 VSWR MHz 12 Impedance Ohms 50.0 W 500.0 Maximum Power Input Lightning Protection Direct Ground GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS Antenna Type Exposed Dipole MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS Connector Type N Male Connector Location Bottom Weight kg (lb) 9 (20) Mount Type Fixed Support Pipe No Mounting Hardware 46 Clamp Set Rated Wind Speed km/h (mph) Flexible Extensions 160 (100) None Overall Length m (ft) 3.51 (11.5) Mounting Pipe Diameter m (in) 0.06 (2.375) Support Pipe Length m (ft) 3.35 (11) Mounting Length m (ft) 0.61 (2) Radiating Element Material 6061 T-6 Aluminum Support Pipe Material 6061 T-6 Aluminum Max Wind Loading Area m² (ft²) 0.137 (1.48) Survival Wind Speed km/h (mph) 200 (125) Bend Mom @ Rated Wind 1" Below Top of Mt Pipe N m (ft lbf) 400 (295) N (lbf) 262 (59) Shipping Weight kg (lb) 15.9 (35) Packing Dimensions, HxWxD mm (in) 3600 x 300 x 120 (141.73 x 11.81 x 4.72) Packing Dimensions - HxWxD m (ft) Wind Load - Side @ Rated Wind PACKAGING INFORMATION 440-3 REV: B All information contained in the present datasheet is subject to confirmation at time of ordering 3.6 x 0.3 x 0.12 (11.8 x 1 x 0.4) REV DATE: 12/27/2011 www.rfsworld.com Page 1 of 2 PRODUCT DATASHEET 440-3 Omni Exposed Dipole Antenna, 140-150, 5.1dBi, N Male External Document Links Notes Vertical Pattern 440-3 REV: B All information contained in the present datasheet is subject to confirmation at time of ordering Horizontal Pattern REV DATE: 12/27/2011 www.rfsworld.com Page 2 of 2
