Two forces act on point E. One is 15 Newton’s North, the other is 18 Newton’s
25 degrees south of east. Determine the magnitude and direction of the
resultant and the magnitude and direction of the equilibrant.

Three forces act simultaneously on point J. One force is 12 Newton’s North,
the second is 14 Newton’s West and the third is 18 Newton’s 30 degrees East of
North. Find the resultant.

Find the resultant.
Solve by summing the x and y components of all three vectors. This method is very handy when there are numerous vectors
to analyze.
