I will talk to students how you never finish a paper or share it unless its your best work with correct spelling and other conventions. Students will begin to write their essay and I will walk around the room to check their progress Thursday Opinion On Demand Students will complete the opinion on demand to show all their understanding of how to write an opinion essay. Friday Good Citizens/ Holiday Party Social Studies Lesson Monday Project Guided reading groups will be assigned to a region. Each group will start off by partner reading within the group that region in the social studies book. Each group will be responsible for filling out a graphic organizer as they go along. Tuesday Project Finishing up the graphic organizer as a group and choosing a state from their region to go deeper on per student. Thursday Project Students will individually replicate the work done by the group for their own state using only resources from the book at this point. Each state is noted in the text.
