The Cinturato Family is Pirelli’s answer to the needs of customers who prefer to choose tyres with a low impact on the world we live in and,
available in a complete range of sizes, it covers all applications from small city cars to prestigious saloons.
ENERGY™ EFFICIENT
Up to 20% less rolling resistance as a result of the improved tread compound, sidewall geometry and internal tyre structure.
Result: reduction of almost 4% in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
CLEAN AIR
In addition to the reduced fuel consumption and emissions, the CinturatoTM Family is 100% free of highly aromatic
oils, due to its new, specially developed polymers and the processes used to mix the compound.
Result: the toll on the environment is minimised in terms of pollutants.
LOW NOISE (applicable to Cinturato P1 and Cinturato P7):
Much lower running noise thanks to a special tread profile, carcass design and materials.
Result: noise reduction of 1dB corresponds to a 30 % reduction in subjectively perceived
tyre noise ensuring compliance with the EU Directive due to come into force in 2012.
HIGH MILEAGE
The performance has been improved by optimising the tread contact area, tread compound and
profile design.
Result: Increased average tyre life whilst maintaining high safety characteristics and
performance.

Check the tread’s depth!
The tread’s depth should never be less than the legal limit, which for cars,
caravans and heavy vehicles is 1.6mm. Other than the legal limit requirements,
in order to stay within the safety margin, Pirelli recommends that you replace
your tyres when the tread is about 3mm. Performance on wet roads decreases
in proportion to the tread’s thickness.

Tyre pressure has a direct influence on your safety. You should check the pressure regularly, at least once a month, when the tyres are cold and always before
