01. The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee, Sri Lanka Railways,
Railway Head Quarters, P.O.Box. 355, Olcott Mawatha, Colombo 10, Sri Lanka
will receive sealed bids from manufactures/Suppliers for the supply of 25,000
Nos. High Friction Composite Brake Blocks to Sri Lanka Railways. Manufacturers
may s u b m i t their bids t h r o u g h an accredited agent empowered by them w i t h
Power of Attorney.
02. Bids w i l l be closed at 02.00 p.m. (Sri Lanka time) on 0 7 August 2015.
03. Bids should be submitted on the forms obtainable froni the Office of the
Superintendent of Railway Stores, Olcott Mawatha, Colombo 10, Sri Lanka or Sri
Lanka Missions abroad u p to 3.00 p.m. (Sri Lanka Time) on 06 August 2015 on
payment of a n o n refundable procurement fee of Rs. 2,500/- only or an
equivalent s u m i n a freely convertible currency.
04. Bids w i l l be opened immediately after the closing at the Office of the Railway
Head Quarters, P.O. Box. 355, Colombo 10, Sri Lanka.
Bidders or their
authorized representatives are requested to be present at the opening of bids.
05. Sealed bids may be dispatched either by Registered post or h a n d delivered to:The Chairman,
