Mix the yeast and water and let it stand for 10 minutes. Measure the flour, eggs, honey, oil, and salt into a large mixing bowl. Pour the yeast and water into the flour mixture in your large mixing bowl and mix until it becomes a smooth dough. Divide the dough into portions and braid. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the size of your challah. Cream butter/shortening and sugar; add eggs, vanilla, and orange juice. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Add rainbow sprinkles to batter and mix/swirl through with spoon or knife. Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Tu B’Shevat Granola Bars 1¼ sticks butter or shortening ½ cup white sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla ½ tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon ½ tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. baking powder 1½ cups quick oats 1 cup corn flakes ½ cup craisins 1 cup chocolate chips Preheat over to 350 degrees. Cream butter/shortening and sugars. Then add eggs and vanilla. Add all dry ingredients one at a time. Then you decide: if you want craisins and/or chocolate chips. Have fun!
