Message from the Principal
We have welcomed the New Year with
open arms. Our students have been
working hard to obtain and apply their new
learning. Our teachers are also working
hard at analyzing student data and providing quality instruction
to all of our students. They are providing instruction based
around four critical questions:
 What do we want each student to learn?
 How will we know when each student has
learned?
 How will we respond when a student experiences
initial difficulty?
 How will we extend and enrich the learning for a
student who is already proficient?
We work collaboratively to analyze student data and make
instructional adjustments to ensure that ALL students are
learning. We continue to celebrate as we watch our students
grow in their learning! We encourage you to ask your child
“What was your learning target for today?”
You have been terrific in the past about supporting
our school and helping to make it a great place for our children
to work and learn. We need your continued support as our
second fundraising event will kick off this month. Proceeds will
benefit our techonolgy fund. GREAT prizes will be awarded! Be
on the lookout for more information coming home.
I want to remind everyone to revisit the district’s
dress code policy, especially in regards to coats, jackets and
sweatshirts. Dress code infractions will be given out to
students who are not following the appropriate dress code
attire.

Box Top Collection. Do you
have a stash of Box Tops at home? Please send
them to school with your child. They can turn
them into their classroom. This is an easy way
to earn money for our school. Those 10 cents
really do add up!
