PRAY FOR:
All those in need. Especially those who
are sick, are feeling weak or lonely.
Increase their faith and assist them in
knowing that they are not alone and all they
need is You.
HOMEBOUND COMMUNION CALLS
Anyone who is homebound and would like to receive Communion on a monthly basis, please contact the Parish Office at
570-874-0610. We will schedule you and call the day before to
let you know that Sister Dolorita will be coming to give you
Communion.
CCD LEARNING BUDDIES
Learning Buddies are needed. Our CCD program is looking
for a few adult volunteers who would be willing to assist in
our classrooms-primarily with our special needs students.
Learning Buddies would participate in a brief training and
would work with the catechist and students as they work on
their weekly lessons. Learning Buddies would not be expected
to create lesson plans or teach-just give a little extra support
and re-assurance to the students that need it. Even if you can’t
be there EVERY Sunday evening, your help would be appreciated. Our program is growing and we want it to be the best it
can possibly be for all of our students. High school through
our “Senior” parishioners are welcome to give it a try. We are
blessed with a great group of volunteer catechists and the children really are a joy to be with-so this is FUN! Please contact
Carolyn Tenaglia (570-874-2093) for more info. All volunteers would be subject to Diocesan screening and youth
protection training.
CHILDREN’S BULLETINS
Please remember that each week there are children’s bulletins
in the back of the church. There are bulletins for children from
ages 3-6 and 7-12 years old. Each week is a new bulletin.
Please take one weekly for your children.
LITURGY OF THE WORD
FOR CHILDREN—”ALLELU”!
Allelu! — Children’s Liturgy of the Word—is available
every Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. Mass. All parish children ages
4—second grade are welcome to attend.
