RACE WAIVER
I know that running is a potentially hazardous
activity. I should not enter and run unless I am
medically able and properly trained. I agree to
abide by any decision of a race official relative to
my ability to safely complete the run. I assume
all risks associated with runnings in the event
including, but not limited to: falls, contact with
another participant, the effects of the weather,
including high heat and/or humidity, traffic, and the
conditions of the road, all such risks being known
and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver
and knowing these facts and in consideration of
you accepting my entry, I, for myself, and anyone
entitled to act on my behalf, waive the release of
all sponsors, their representatives, and successors
from all claims of liabilities of any kind arising out
of my participation in this event even though that
liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness
on the part of the persons named in this waiver.

5K Run/3K Walk has been a long-time tradition
for the Nyack community during Homecoming
Weekend. Both runners and walkers of all ages
(even strollers) are welcome to participate in
this family-friendly race. The course takes you
through the hills of Nyack College’s scenic
campus overlooking the Hudson River. Proceeds
from the race will benefit the Nyack College
Warriors Cross Country teams.
Location
The race begins and ends at Moseley Field on
the Nyack College Rockland Campus (1 South
Boulevard, Nyack, NY). Our 5K course is a
USATF certified course (NY15502JHP) featuring
3.1 miles of hills and a 362-ft. net elevation gain.
